RE:           Spiritual Adoption

I am excited to announce that CAP is restarting the process of spiritual adoption of volunteers.  For those of you who are not familiar with spiritual adoption, this is a great opportunity for CAP employees and volunteer alumni to support our current volunteers in prayer.  When a volunteer arrives at CAP, they are asked to write a prayer for their service with CAP. This is a personal prayer, unique to each volunteer, and may be for the impact they have on their participants or how they desire to grow spiritually throughout their service with CAP.  If you choose to spiritually adopt a volunteer, you will be praying for that volunteer during their entire stay at CAP. I will send you a name of a current volunteer, along with their service program, volunteer house, birthday and the prayer that volunteer wrote. We ask that you would pray for them as often as you can, send them cards, and anything else you would like to do for them throughout the year to show your support. This is a great opportunity for you to show support for volunteers and let each volunteer know how much they are appreciated.

I hope you will prayerfully consider spiritually adopting a volunteer.  If you are interested in participating please give me a call @ 606-256-0973 or e-mail me @ mmcnew@chrisapp.org.
